I agree Robin. That was one of the things that was nice at VMP. It was cool to see all of the different kind of trucks there.

I don't think breaking down the divisions will do much. Here in Western Pa, we have GTG's almost every weekend. Some that attend are from this site, some from DTW, and some that aren't a member of any club. I can't see making a state chapter would do anything with the number of members that we have. States that have a lot of members that are active and like to have GTG's are going to do so no matter what.
As far as recruiting goes, I think the same thing applies, people that are going to recruit do it now. It isn't easy to get a lot of people to join. There are only so many Rumblebee's out there. I know that all special edition Dodge's are welcome here, but not all of our members realize that. It seem that there is always a few on here saying that this site is just for Bee's. It'll be hard to grow with that going on.

Thats true LD..........I keep all the trucks in mind when I see one with an owner near it, or just drop them a note on the wiper. Hey.....as long as its mopar, thats all that conts, hell I'm even into letting the cool ford and chubby boys hang out. Its all in having a good time, thats what counts!

uhhhhh I'am lost...so are we having a GTG!!!! Razz

I'm down with splitting Div 1 into two chapters (maybe a north and south, etc.). Is there a need to split the other chapters up at this time? It seems that only Div 1 has the large geographical spread, and activity necessary to really benefit from it... Let me know if I'm wrong.

That sounds reasonable............but if a group wants to start a seperate club/chapter, why not?? It'll work if they participate. I see doing all the chapters would be a chore.

If this is what's needed to keep the Hive happy then let's do it. I will still need to make my decisions on which GTG I can attend based on Family and work commitments, no matter what Division I'm in.

If it were to bee done, we agree on this selection above from Koby!
Seems that would work the best!
IMO, so long as everyone is having a good time it won't make a difference if Division 1 is divided or not. So I say let's enjoy ourselves and party on!

If we do this split lets make sure we Geographically split this the best way possible!

Split of Division 1 into 2 chapters?

New England = ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NY, Quebec
Mid-Atlantic = DE, MD, PA, NJ, VA, WV
Dunno where to put these = Newfoundland, Europe

What about into 3 Chapters?

New England = ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT
Northern Atlantic = NY, NJ, PA, Quebec
Mid Atlantic = DE, MD, VA, WV, NC, KY

We could split up other chapters too if needed but I don't see any input from other chapters so far!
Plus we should have interest from people wanting to step up to take Office for those chapters!
