Naturally who ever does this would first look into it and get all the details and sign a contract. I'm sure nobody would loosely turn their truck over to a perfect stranger for an undetermined amount of time with a blank check. If everything was agreeable, i would do it.

JUST, WHAT ROGER SAID Cool

If I still had my Bee I'm not sure I would let someone experiment on it. Plus I see no mention of cost or if you get to keep the turbo..Ect. I don't think I would do it.

agreed, there is no way in hell hes gonna let you keep a 5000 $ turbo system. all he wants is a guinnie pig. , if you think for a second hes gonna let you keep something like that i got a few bridges over by me i can sell you too. LOL, oh by the way what if he f's up your truck? is he liable ? is he going to fix it ? what is he going to do with the truck while its in his possesion? a 50,000 mile test run? come on guys use your heads !! Rolling Eyes

Well, its certainly not an experiment, and I am not looking for a Guinea pig either. I developed the first production turbo system for the 300, Charger, and Magnum Hemi's almost 3 years ago, so forced induction Hemi's are not something new for me. I put over 32,000 trouble free miles on my own 300C till it was time to trade after 3 years for a new Hemi Cherokee. I work closely with Sharadon, and a lot of people are asking for a Ram turbo alternative, therefore I am seeking a vehicle for fitment. One of my R&D vehicles has been used a lot to help with the initial development of the Hemi handheld tuners as well, so I am no stranger in the Hemi aftermarket world either.

Yes it takes about four weeks, all components have to be fabbed, then pulled, jigs developed, production pieces made and then refitted, so it takes some time. Initial development such as this is a negative profit venture with no promise of any future gain. The first three pre production systems for the 300 Hemi cost over $16,000 just for the tubing fabrication alone, so it is not a cheap venture. It would take about 20+ systems at a normal retail just to recoup initial costs and that does not even include my own labor time that just gets written off. It is not uncommon to see someone drop $15k to $20K for a fully completed one off custom setup.

Details would be discussed with the potential candidate including cost and method of tuning. Average is about 40% off the retail and install combined cost. Only variable is the method of tuning.

I would be willing to simply use a vehicle for fitment only and never fire it up if that was what the owner wanted, fee for use could be worked out for that as well.

And no, I do not do a 50,000 mile test drive on someones vehicle either, road tuning yes, but driving it just to drive it, that would just be wrong.

So if someone is interested, PM me.

Mr MoPAr
