I put on a set of black powder coated SRT10 rims on my Daytona. I ahve one set of the Mopar wheels locks on them but I wanted to ask you SRT10 owners if any of you know of a better wheel lock.

Also, I have been checking ebay but I seem to not be able to locate a set of the SRT10 pedals, do any of you know of any aftermarket replacements?

you can only uses the srt 10 pedals if you have a certain gas pedal...cant remember if its one that moves or not..I know mine is the opposite of what I would need...Putco makes a nice set that looks similar...

Yeah, I just bought a set without paying attention and can't use the gas pedal. My Daytona has the one piece solid pedal and the SRT-10 has the pivoting style.

Anyone want to buy an accelerator pedal cheap? Smile

i purchased the pedals from my dealer where i work. you need the ones from the jeep srt8, the brake pedal is the same size and all, and the gas pedal fits with a little modifying of the original pedal. it looks awesome.

Do you have a part number? I know the one for an SRT-4 will also work. Its part number is 5290490AB.

Cool, thx hemiramon22s, I have my pedals solved, now I just need to figure out the wheel locks and I'll be all set.

The wheels locks are driving me nuts asn I had a dream that someone stole all 4 tires and luckly for me, it was just a dream but I now park the truck inside and the charger Daytona outside since it has 4 out of 5 lugs are locks on each tire (long story Rolling Eyes ).

I am taking a cruise soon and will have the truck parked for a week near the port and definately want the wheels safe, even if it means to buy 4 more sets of the mopar wheel locks. LOL

Just curious what type of modification to the gas pedal was needed? Just a little shaving or something more serious?

Thx!

the clip is made for the SRT-8 jeep, so it will not fit onto the stock pedal. what i did was order a pedal(not the whole assembly) from an 04 grand cherokee, took my pedal off(which comes off with the removal of 2 bolts), i shaved the sides of the jeep pedal, and pushed the cover over it(it has 2 clips on the botton, and is very secure). the pedal cover is beveled, so i just pushed it down and it clipped right on. ill post some pics of it later. any questions guys, let me know.

I just recieved my SRT8 pedals today and installed them.

Wow was that a PITA.

I am 6'-5" and 270 lbs. and let me tell you it is just a joy to work in the cramped space under the stearing wheel to install these pedals.

The brake pedal gave me enough problems I almost gave up and had someone else do it. I finally got that on and started on the gas pedal.

I had to grind the width down to make the gas pedal overlay snap on.

After it was all said and done they look Excellent and I am very happy with them, I just wish I would have had someone else install them. Laughing

How much did you have to grind down the gas pedal?

I ordered them from the justforjeeps.com link listed above.

I probably had to grind down about 3/16"-1/4" on both sides of the pedal, so about 3/8" to 1/2" total I would guess.

I should have removed the pedal and worked on it outside the truck, it would have made it a lot easier, but once I got started I was too stubborn to stop. Embarassed

I think the pedals look great and well worth the money.
