Good job you did there. Looks great. I like the stain ideal too because it seals and protects not only the wood but also keeps bare feet away from the chemicals in the wood and splinters as well and is a plus in keeping it clean. Has the tax man been by to check out the improvement yet? Seems like I can't mow the yard without them reappraising things around here. One other thing I put on my porch was a gravity table to help keep the back lined up and the spasums down. Your project turned out well !

I will stain the porch but I was told by several people to let it sit for about 6 months to get the moisture out of the wood before staining.

Last pictures.

Got the front door painted today and the doorbell in. So now the house project is done until spring when I will stain the porch.

Also had the extra chair for the grandpa cave come in so its done too.

Guess its time to relax and enjoy the porch and grandpa cave.
