I wouldn't say it was too much of a scam, people who bought them new only paid a few thousand more over a regular ram, and in my opinion got a much nicer looking vehicle. In terms of resale it is true you won't get an unholy amount extra for it but I do think you could sell it over a regular looking ram faster. I am glad though that I bought it used for much cheaper than it was new.

Really we were going to trade the GTX in a couple years ago. We were told it was a fantastic truck but the trade in was going to be the same as a regular ram. Don't think you are going to get anything more from owning a bee, gtx, or daytona. It was a great scam by dodge to sell trucks.

A scam that truly worked well for them!
You can say that again. Rolling Eyes

To start with dodge lied about production numbers. The limited edition means absolutely nothing as far as value. As far as I'm cocerned it is a scam. The GTX's got a much better package than the bees and at least the numbers are right. If you bought a bee used it probably isn't a big deal because you didn't pay extra for it to start with.

I doubt it seriously. Even older trucks hold very little value. Little red express, warlocks, even trucks from the 50's and 60's bring no where close to cars of the same time.
