The only way to get the lower dust seals on an 04, dont know about 05's, is to go and tell them dust is entering your cab Razz and get the seals installed under the tsb. Twisted Evil

Took mine to the stealership today..The guy gave me all kinda chrap like he did'nt want to do it Brick wall He asked me how many miles I had on my Bee Then he told me that because the passenger side wasnt cut they were not going to do it!! I told him I didnt care if it was ripped I was not driving back to him in a few months when it does!! mong
After a few choice words he saw things my way and orderded them for me gt-happyup I told a freind of mine who has an 04 Bee so he called and they said NO you have to many miles on your truck!! thumbdown So if I was you guys I would go and get them done FAST(like a yellow bee) geesturbed

IF YOUR TRUCK HAS A TSB LISTED THEN THEY HAVE TO FIX IT . BECAUSE IT'S A KNOWN DEFECT AND IT'S COVERED . DON'T LET ANY STEALER TELL YOU ANY DIFFERENT.

This may be a stupid question but are they putting the new style in or same defective ones?? The new ones don't get ripped. I know of ones done over a year ago and no ripping.

The point of the door does not even touch the rubber on the new ones. Just thought of that.

There is a point on the door right in front of the mirror that hits the rubber when you open the door all the way.

Im resurecting an anchient thread...
The door seal is ripping on my drivers side. Guess the original owner never got the tsb done. One side is like $30 and the othef side is $12. Dont think i can take it back to the dealer since its ten years old now...lol!
In a few more months my truck will be all caught up with and be in show-like shape. Prolly get rid of the original tires and battery next.
