I am thinking about adding a 4-6" suspension lift to the Daytona along with the 3" body lift I currently have and switching out the 35's for 37's.

I'm just wondering if it would be too much. I hate to spend all that money and then regret doing it later.

What do you think?

I really like the way your truck looks now, and honestly think adding a suspension lift and 37s would be a bit too much, short bed regular cabs look silly that tall IMHO...

I think it looks great the way it sits.

There is a point where it becomes too much.

Why would you want higher??

I think I agree, I just wanted to get a few opinions on it.

Maybe I will put the money towards 4.56 gears or cam and tune.

I think the gears would be a great choice, In fact, I'd consider 4.88s with the 35's, It would be a massive improvement over the 3.92s

BTW, Just wanted to mention you did a great job with photoshop, I couldn't even tell the second shot is altered if I didn't know it already...

I think it would look pretty good, but I'm partial to lifted trucks. This one isn't mine, but a friend of mine. This is with 39s on it.

I am considering 4.88's also. I am getting quotes from different shops and I am hoping I can stay under$2500 for parts and labor.

Thanks for compliment on the photochop.
I actually used MS Paint to create it, so it took a little more time.

Wow, Now I'm really impressed!

On the re-gear, $2500 would be a pretty good deal on a complete 4x4 re-gear, But Drive it on out here to Virginia, and I'll help you do it yourself Smile, and keep it under a thousand... The 9.25" is actually pretty easy, I've never done 8.0" front on a Ram though.. so can't vouch for how tough that is.. But willing to try.

have you updated the brakes? I am pretty sure with larger tires, bigger brakes could help

I was thinking about doing that also.

Do you or anyone else have any suggestions for a good complete brake kit for our trucks?

You looking to go bigger or just better quality? If you want better, PowerStop rotors and Hawk green pads made a big difference on mine when I had it.
