Hey I have a question for ya'll. I just need some male opinion. Just say that a younger married man is emailing, and text messaging a 17 year old high school student. Questions like how old are you, where do you work, where do you live, blah blah blah blah. Is it ok to continue doing this after the wife has said it makes her uncomfortable and she doesn't like it?

Sounds like it would cause a lot of unnecessary tension to me. I wouldn't do it.

That is creepy, in todays age that could get a person in real trouble. Just look at former congressman Foley. He was just emailing teen boys, but it was what he was emailing that was the problem. C-R-E-E-P-Y!!!!!!

I believe you answered the question already. The wife has a problem with it.

...But before that, you have the problem with the 17 year old child and the man. That's before the marriage factor.

Well seeing how I have a 17yo sister I can relate to this in a way....I can garuntee that if I was the 17yo's father or older sibling if that applys I would find this younger married man and ask him to kindly stop once and if it didn't stomp a mudhole in his ass and walk that sumbitch dry, I would then turn over any messages to his wife and mayhap seek legal action depending on the nature of said messages....But thats me.

Yeah your right blah blah blah blah, you never know what to believe but the general idea and question is it ok? no you don't know if they're 17 or not. yes there was a pic sent. but with the statement I'm 17, a minor i might add, is it ok for a married man to carry on conversation on line then take it to personal cell phone text messages.

We can't really say it's Ok or not we don't know enough of the background....tech it's just talk'n and such, there's nothing really wrong with that within society. Would I do it....not at all, its SUPER disrespectfully to his wife/family/self. He's look'n for something, or lacking something in the relationship, or just has a screw loose......What are the intentions behind it. I mean, what can someone older really have in common with a 17 year old. I'd never stand for it.....even if "they are just a friends" Just doesn't make sense, and should be stopped for the girls sake/future

And yeah that dateline show is sad, those guys are idiots, have some respect for yourself, and the younger girls.....it's amazing how much it happens....makes me sick.

Yeah MySpace.....just like everything it needs to be filtered for the good/bad/ugly....I actually met my fiance on there, been together 2 + years......and has bee awesome.....but I'm prob just a lucky one!

If he's over 18 and she's under......they can talk (but shouldn't), and should NEVER meet! It's that simple.....

The real question should be: Why does he feel the need to talk to a 17 year old girl when he has a wife.....
