No yellow here man Wink ...To bright for me. There was a yellow Bee at the time I bought mine #1969. Didnt barely even look it's way, went right to the black one. Very Happy They ended up not selling it. It sat for a year. Till someone up North bought it......

as a general rule the timing sounds ok, as older mopars are about 10deg idle and all in around 2000-2500 rpm and 36-39 degrees. I've always heard that newer cars have far advanced timing to lean things out for emissions but i'm no techie on any of that

PlatinumHemi- it seems that my request for confirmation started something that i didn't intend. We all appreciate anything you are willing to share with us, its just that the anoynamus internet is easy to spread things without proper confirmation. Thanks for coming over and don't forget to come back, I hardly ever get a chance to check other sites. The good thing about here is that it's small enough to catch up on missed posts after a couple of days, some places i've seen can have several hundred topics after a couple of days......... that's alot of reading

laserman is correct that at least half of us talk about going fast but don't have the self control to keep the money burning a whole in our pockets. I personally have spent enough on various decals and other apperance mods to have paid for the 6pak hood i really want, but its hard to leave the money just sitting there. I do think that MOST of us would like to go faster if you gave us the chance..................... and a platinum visa card from one of those reality shows you don't have to pay back:lol: Laughing Shocked

What have you done to yours so far? Cool

So far
Supercharger
Bigger injectors and control box to allow me to use them
Using a different belt wrap with the super charger allows for less slip and more boost
I'm running a ram air style intake to the supercharger from a custom made hood w/scoop. That way the charger always has fresh air to draw from, not under hood and it will not need to work as hard because of the ram air
Different plugs

May get long tube headers as well.

Should have 10 lbs of boost when done. I didn't want to risk damage to the engine so I'm taking it up to the max boost safely and I didn't want to tear the truck down to put in forged pistons and all that. When all said and done I'm expecting well over 400 rwhp

It seems so true, no matter how much ya spend or do, someone WILL come along that has spent a bit more, done a little bit more, and WILL BEAT ya. To many fast ones out there for me to keep up with, to little money for me to keep up with. 3850 has a bench mark of 12.something, and then we just enjoy the ride and take her to shows. Can't do the mechanical myself and the only one around here capable of stuff like that is the dealer and his rates are $90.00 dollars an hour. Would still like to go for a different torque convertor and may still get that done. That would make 12.something easier. Been looking at the Pontiac Solstice with it's turbo and realizing it's pretty quick right out of the container, and they come in black.

I totally agree. I'll probably only hold the 12.88 n/a record for a week. I'm sure someone will be faster next weekend. I'm just glad to have been the first to pop the 12 sec n/a cherry with stock displacement. LOL

I will chime in here and tell you I have been in contact personally with Platinum Hemi for a few years now and just talking with him you know he is as honest and stand up as they come. He is not here to start trouble or brag, but let those interested in performance know that he doesnt talk the talk with out walking the walk.

Congrats on your times Gadier!!
