I guess thats a good start, BEST TRUCK! I didn't want to tell all those chevy guys that I hadn't even washed the BEE. MOPAR rules! I did show respect to the perfect 426 HEMI Roadrunner parked near me. Perfection!

Thanks Roger! That Road Runner was perfect, not a single flaw. Found out today that when I was 4, they lived 2 doors down from me. Car shows are good for more than just showing cars!

Outstandamundo! Very Happy

Congrats Dusty, and that's some pretty lofty compamy you were keeping there.

The Road Runner was gorgeous but I have to admit that it's sporting my least favorite MOPAR color. Sad

How many trucks were there. Just went to one, about 7 trucks I think. Couldn't win anything. What beat me was a 50 ferd, 3rd, a 56 chebby, 2nd, and a 70 camino 1st. Haven't been able to understand that vote yet. First time 3850 has been shutout, and to a 50 ferd, and 56 chebby. Don't mind the camino, it was pretty sharp. Spectator voting, no new cars except Louie's and all hot rod otherwise. I have learned a long time ago for I used to show almost every w/e, hot rodders do not like new vehicles at their shows. They think they are the only thing worth being at shows. Heck, 3850 would beat half of them at the track, I had most every mode they have and yet they just won't vote for anything new. Have been beaten by a 50 ferd before and a 56 chebby, but the 2nd and 3rd were switched around. Been to one that had many bees and it was the 50's that won everything there also. Have won several trophies with 3850, usually when no one shows up. They have no choice, and I hate winning that way, like kissing your sister, or worse your grandma. Was sure glad to see Louie win, but you know, he was beat by an 88 ferd ranger extended cab that was just clean, nothing otherwise, even had mud in the treads of the wheels, for they parked us in a field after we just had 13" of rain. He was a great guy to talk to, his first trophy also. He told us afterwards we were really screwed over. Saw him an the way home and he said he just can't beelieve what the judging did to 3850. Told him the classes are all wrong for trucks. You can't put every truck in the same class, for the hot rod ones will win everytime, specially if there are lots of hot rod owners showing, and it's participant voting.

Thanks Guys! There were about 15 to 20 trucks of every age and model, but mine was probably the newest. I felt a little guilty because I know how much work goes into paint and motors ect. They gave out 40 trophies and then the class winners by 5 or 6 judges. Now I can retire Wink
