Depends on who you ask but I think the consensus is that there's not enough bang for the buck.

Some say the only difference is the sound.... Confused

Don't think it'll be a night and day difference, but the sound is pretty cool when you get on the throttle...to make the most of the CAI you need a good exhaust system Idea

Save yourself some $$$ and go to Lowes and buy some 3-4" PVC and make your CAI. Wink

There is some difference but not much.
When we had our put on and took it for a test there was definitely more power there! cool_goatee

yeah its whatever u prefer and its who you ask. I hvae the k&n, and when i first put it on, the sound was incredible, but now you cant really tell..but it has a lil bit more pickup, so all in all about 7 hp if that...

But what about that vararam intake they have now? Is that really worth 500 bucks or not?

The spacer or the CAI?? or both?

as for the spacer i have no clue i don't have one but for the CAI i would not say it is a total wast of money? now that being said if i did it again i would bot pay the $300+ for the K&N i would go with the e-bay one

i don't know that just what i think but what does that mean????

I've been trying to make a more affordable design for a couple years now but haven't found a test mule (#4535 is off limits Laughing ). Maybe now that my neighbor's Dad has a HEMI I can make it a reality. Cool
