I got an invitation in the mail a few weeks back to come to this 09 Ram Challenge in Orlando so we went and had a pretty good time. Anyone else been to one of these? They had 3 different obstical courses set up. They were kinda lame but hey it was free entertainment! The had an offroad course, a performance and handling course and a ride quality course! On the performance and the ride quality courses they also had a Toyota Tundra, Chevy and Ford so you could drive compare. I've gotta say the Ford was by far the worst overall on everything! It didnt have any balls at all, wouldnt stop for $#!+ and rode like my old go cart I had when I was a kid running down the washboard dirt road we lived on! Chevy was a dog but stopped and handled ok and had a nice ride. Tundra took off like a bat outta hell burnin rubber! Didnt realize the snappy responce they have, that things quick but only stopped and handled ok and ugly as a M/F'r inside and out! I mean FUGLY! It was cheap lookin! The Ram excelorated good but not as good as ours in the short burst you get to run but outhandled all of them and stopped on a dime and rode like a dream!!! Gotta get used to that Ford look though that they've given it! It really looks like an F250 from the side Confused Heres a few pics!

Looks like a good way to see how the new Ram performs. Still like the look of our trucks better. Thanks for posting.

I dont know what dodge was thinking with this design. its ugly. I love the dual set up in the back but thats about it. Ugly front end and from the back side view looks like an f150. Not my cup o tea at all. Love the 04-07 looks alot better.

My .02

But looks like u had a fun time, i wouldnt mind test driving one just to see the difference. would never buy one though

the R/T doesn't do much for me.
The ram head emblems are WAY too big. Other than that, I like it. It's better than those fugly 06-08's

the new 5.7 has quite a few changes i see...

TB is facing upward
dual coilpacks
looks like the intake manifold is similar to the 6.1...kinda

looks like they stayed with those crappy log style exhaust manifolds. tisk, tisk...if dodge would just wuse some tubular ones they could jump the hp and torque even more...maybe even break the 400 hp mark.
