OK, been here for over 4 years and am still here. Its more about the people than the trucks though.

We added a photography section so I was thinking that we are more than just a bunch of guys/gals that share a common interest (dodge trucks) we all have other interests also. So here is my suggestion for additional sections. I know its up to Dave totally but its my suggestion.

Other Car/Truck Projects - share whatever other vehicle you have and what you have done.

Home Projects: show us your home and what you have done to it to make it special. I know we have several members who have kick butt homes/garages.

Other hobbies - fishing, hunting, sports, just drinking beer what is your hobby?

Family Section: post up that family you are so proud of. I know I am proud of mine

I know this is a truck site but how many posts on wheels, stripes, badging, stereo upgrades can we do that have not already been done.

I would not suggest this on another board beecuz I don't think other boards have the family feeling that this site has.

what do you think?

It can help or hurt...

Alot of people post EVERYTHING in the Rumble Bee General Discussion section regardless of what the topic is. I know a few of my off topic questions were moved to the Off-Topic section by a moderator after I posted them in the Rumble Bee General Discussion. I try to post in the right section to save the moderators the hassle of moving everything but I slip up sometimes. I'm sure the moderators just want to come on here and read...not have to move everything to proper locations.

So it doesn't matter to me if we add anything. I do think people will still post in Rumble Bee General Discussion as it gets the most attention and alot of people do it out of habit. Unfortunately it leaves the moderators to have to move the posts to the correct sections when they do post in the wrong section.

I like the idea. I just hope members utilize it and don't cause more work for moderators having to move topics to correct sections.

I'm sure we could fill new sections up with tons of pics and info. Very Happy

I like the ideas as well. Perhaps a branch off of the Photo section.

I am just about to start my basement build (next week), but I was going to post pictures of the progress anyways. Laughing I may just put those in the performance section. Laughing

Just to play devils advocate, is this not the reason for the “off topic” section?

The subject matter heading will tell everyone what the thread is about. Plus how many subsections would you want to peruse?

Just my thoughts on the idea.

Andrew thank you for thinking of us!!

Truely, but its cool if people slip up, heck we all do. Moving a topic is no big deal at all. Its when people bicker and the spliting and all that stuff is what gets tiring. Its been very good lately besides the slight rasicm that i dont think was ment to do harm but it got taking care of I think in a proper manner.

Again good idea, we just need to keep that new section clean of vulgar and profanity/nudity. I open the general section sometimes with my young daughter sitting here and some of the things folks post shouldnt be there.

Thats the thing i would like to see, yes is a family/hobby section but keep it clean as well.......... JMO

And again thanks for thinking of administration.

Much appreciated!!!!Much Very Happy
