I cannot speak for the others, but I am hardly a nay-sayer. It was merely an observation that if he was selling his truck due to financial difficulties that there may BEE a more fiduciary friendly alternative than the route he's taking, and that there are indeed many vehicles in the MOPAR line that are more economical to operate that a T Bird.

My only intent here was an attempt to help out a fellow member seemingly BEEing forced away from the MOPAR brand, nothing more.

...oh yeah, and I would rather see my sister in a whorehouse than have drive a ford. Wink

i think the problem he's running into is just being able to dump the truck. if he owes more than it's worth, the only real alternative is to take a hit and turn it in for something else. however, i agree that there are better vehicles out there than a thunderbird to trade it for. try an avenger, sebring, caliber (or even a PT cruiser... yuck) in the mopar line up then. all of those should fit into what you said above about being more economical to operate.

good luck, tom. i hope you are able to work it out.

Have we talked about this BEEfore? (getting old, memory going black [fast])

My second, and one of my favorite cars, was a 69 Coronet 500 (ragtop) 383, loaded to the gills, Firebronze with white top and interior. Cool You talk about a chick magnet, I was the "cock of the walk" my junior year until I wrecked her. Sad

She was identical to this one, except the top, the interior, and the Cragar's. Wink

sorry guys, but this place is giving me the most for my money. this is why I am taking this t-bird nobody else will come close. And also the interest is killing me my payments are 541.27 a month and only 150 a month come off of the principle it is just to much money to lose at the moment. If i keep it any longer I will be loosing more and more. And yes ben I will be at carlisle this year even if I have to park two miles away.

well friday it will be final. I am picking up the ford. I know some of you may not understand but this is something I have to do. I hate every econo car that chrysler and dodge put out. So for about a year or so I will be driving a thunderbird but for the winter I do have a old grand cherokee so I am not leaving mopar completely. Beleave me this is really hard for me to do, but it has to be done this way so thanks for listening. And ben I will be at carlisle this year Very Happy I wouldn,t miss it 2 years in a row. I guess you will have to take me out in your truck when we are their.
