Sorry for the mess. still trying to figure out where to put stuff.

I bought 3 of the old style big screen rear projecttion TV's off of craig's list around 4 years ago for a total of $1,000.00, well the 53" one in my bedroom finally died this week.

So we went and bought a new TV for my bedroom. We use the TV in my bedroom more than any tv in the house. my grand daughter falls asleep in my bed every night watching kid shows and I carry her to her room after she is sleeping. She is in my room in the morning watching tv and plays in my room most of the day on weekends.

So we ended up with a 64" plasma that has built in 3D for my room. They did not have the 70" in stock I wanted for my room so we settled for the 64". I guess when the old one goes out in the living room we will get a 70" or what ever is bigger for the living room.

Savanah is loving the TV. Cristina is going to get me the 3D glasses for father's day.

Laughing Haha...Settled for the 64"...And I'm still rolling a 1987 Panasonic 19" with steer horns on it.

Sounds fancy. Enjoy your new purchase!

Thanks,

I think mounting brakets run around $200. I bought the stand for $400, it kinda matches the tables I bought for my grandpa cave last year. Almost all of the furniture in my house is over 20 years old. I bought it all when I got divorced from my daughters mother when she was 4 years old. so little by little I will replace all of the old furniture.

here is the grandpa cave tables and chairs I bought last year.

I have two peerless mounts which cost me a chunk of change. They are great.. But Monoprice has some mounts as well. I paid $40 shipped for the one holding my 30" TV.. It's built strong.. I buy all my cables and such from them.

I still have my 13" Sony in the kitchen, bought it in Germany in 1984.

I am a TV junkie,

27" in grand baby's room
31" in daughters room
64" new in my room
60" in living room (the new one above)
27" in garage
13" in kitchen
96" in grandpa cave
54" in storage room (savanah plays in there a lot so I put a tv in there)
