Hoped in the be today just to go for a cruise, turned on my CD player (its the stock one) CD plays but could not get it to eject... It has been in there for awhile... But dont think that would do anything to it. Anyone else have this happen?

exact same thing happened to me recently. i pulled that piece of crap out and installed an aftermarket kenwood deck and SRT10 sub.

...still have to figure out how to get the cd's out of that deck though.

Mine used to do that as well. But only on warm days. I could eject the CD out at night though. I grew tired and then replaced it.

Ditto here. A new Kenwood KDC solved the problem! Cool

Happened to my friend's '05 (intermittently), and his dad's '04 (wouldn't give it up). Guess it's a common problem!

Awesome. I hated when mine did that. Get the iPod kit then you won't need the CDs

I have only tried playing a CD in my radio once. Of course it was a brand new one I just bought at the store and really wanted to listen to. I turned the radio on and put it the slot and it seemed like it tried to read it but I couldn't get it to play it at all. I was able to eject it and the CD had very minor scratches on it after it came out. I have been too scared to try it again. I should probably just be safe and replace the stereo but I like the way the stock on looks.

Yep. Mine did that. It eventually spit the CD out and when it did, I replaced it with an aftermarket Kenwood HU that same day.
