Howdy,

I just bought a dodge rumblebee and I will pick it up tomorrow.
It's in pretty rough condition so I would like to get it back to his original build.

I hope to find the information I need to restore this beautiful bee.

My English is not perfect as you might noticed, I'm from Belgium but moved to the US 2 months ago.

Grtz

Thanks guys, I'm picking it up this evening (feeling excited )

There are a few things I want to do with the bee.
The rear fender (is it called that way? The plate with the fuel door) on the drivers side has deep scratches and a very big dent, so I would like to replace that.
Because the new part needs to have a paint job, I would like to paint the hood and 2 front fenders together with the new part, so the costs will drop.
Reason: the paint has been cracking from the AZ sun.
It also need a new drivers seat. The old one is ragged.

How should I do this? Do I order the parts myself and just go to a shop? Do I walk into a car shop and ask them for a quote for the hole fix? Or do I go to a official dealer and let them do al the replacements?
A official dealer is probably more expensive then a smaller local shop?

I'm pretty handy so I can do the seat myself (I think Laughing )
On which websites can i find the right parts? I would like to purchase the right parts (no fiberglass) Wink

Because I'm completely new to the US, I have no idea how things work in this area. All help is welcome.

I will post some pics tomorrow, when I have the truck at my place. It's a second swarm, #1066

The truck is already at the repair and paint shop. The guy assured me that he can repair the big dent instead of putting a new part on the truck. So i left it at the shop and they are gonna fix everything.
I mean every single dent they can find, and then a full paint strip and off course a complete new paint job.

I'm very curious how it's gonna look after all the work is done

Here some pics how it looks now:

The big damage on the left side of the bed :

Very Happy
Bart
