Hi all. Two quick questions. Does anyone know where I can buy a new set of outside door spears? Mine are kinda faded. If they aren't available for sale, is repainting an option? Also, I want to upgrade my cloth seats to leather, as the driver's side seat needs to be re-cushioned, so I figured I'd go with leather covers. I saw an episode of "Gearz" where Stacey David modded a 2013 Ram with leather covers, but I don't know where he got them from. Any help in these areas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I was never a big fan of the spears. I took them off Da Beest, cleaned off the excess glue, then polished it out. I prefer the clean look over the spears.
If you want to replace them, I suggest going to the dealership to see if they keep them in stock.
As far as the seat covers, take your pick...

Good luck and post some pics when ya get finished.

I wonder if you could find some door spears used? Seems like lots of people remove them, I just don't know if they come off undamaged. My truck already had them removed when I bought it, I'm also a fan of the "cleaner," look. As for the seat covers, I believe that Stacey David used Katzkin seat covers on that build. There are a couple choices out there, though!

I went with Katzkins and have been very happy with the quality and wear.

I painted my door spears last year with some paint and clearcoat that I ordered in high quality spray cans. They came out looking like brand new but I cant see to find a link to my post so here are some pics. Before I painted them the brown primer was showing on all of the edges.
The spears are great at protecting from idiots in the parking lots. Smile

I just got my set of Clazzio seat covers for my Bee. I went with Black perforated leather, Yellow stitching, and a bee logo embroidered in the headrest. I have only fit the Passenger side so far, it does not replace the cloth, but acts like a seat cover, except it is precision made, fits very snug. I am waiting to get a new seat foam for the driver side before doing that one. The center consol part doesnt seem as nice as the rest of the kit, but I havent fitted it yet, so it may turn out nicer than I'm thining. I'll try and grab some pics and post them up.
