I just wanted to say goodby to all of you as I have just recently traded in my 2005 Rumblebee. I bought my Rumblebee used a number of years ago because my wife said we needed a truck. When I bought the truck, I did not know the history of the Rumblebee trucks, so the first weekend that I owned it, I used it to haul a load of stone in the bed for around our house. My neighbors all thought that I was nuts. When I started doing some research, my truck never hauled anything ever again. We put all kinds of mods on the truck over the years and we really enjoyed it. A couple of years ago, we had the opportunity to buy a 1972 Dodge Challenger Rally that was fully restored. So we bought it and we have been taking it to all of the car shows that we go to now, including the Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle.
When we bought the truck, it had 110,000 miles on it and was used as a work truck in the Philly area of PA. When we traded it in, it had about 123,000 miles on it. We figured out that the last couple of years, we were only putting about 1500 miles on it a year. It just seemed like it was a waste to carry insurance on it and keep it. We found a used 2014 Dodge Charger R/T Max AWD with less than 24,000 miles on it. It was white with red leather interior. We loved it, we made a deal with the dealership and we traded the Bee in on it.
Wish you all well. I enjoyed my time on here with all of you, meeting some of you, going to the fall foliage run in Virginia and meeting some of you at Carlisle.
Take care and as DaBeest says, it is all because of a truck.

Jerry, you'll always be welcome here brother. I lost my truck in 2008 and we still hang out here.
Though you don't have the truck any longer, come back for a visit now and then.
Keep in touch my friend and all the best to you.

Jerry good luck to you but I hope you stick around. I even gave my truck to my brother at one point but then got it back a few years ago. We here for the people. Although there hasn't been as much activity on the org as there uses to be, the same good people are still here. Like Joe says, "All because of a truck". Let's see that Challenger you have.

I traded in My Bee two years ago on a(nother) Jeep, and I'm still here, Jerry. There are a number of peeps who haven't had a Bee in a long time that are still here, so no reason for you to go, keep checking in!

Well at least you stayed in the MOPAR family, enjoy the Charger. BEE owners, current or otherwise, are always welcome here. Cool
