On that day, I was trying different lanch techniques at our local 1/8 mile. The best run that day I believe was a 7.70@89mph with a 1.64 60'. The truck has run a best of 7.37@92 in the 1/8. I'm getting the truck ready this month for Monster Mopar weekend in St. Louis next month.

Pretty respectable...

Why don't you guys use youtube to upload vids?? It allows people to still watch your videos when a thread is like this and over a year old.

Just a suggestion.

Darleen is a great name for a truck. I still need to name mine. So far, I just call it the yellow truck, the yellow brick or big yellow. Maybe when I'm done engine and tranny modding, I'll have time to think about a good name for her.

Before I forget.. until I can come up with a better name I'm temp. calling mine "The Great Pumpkin" Twisted Evil

Well I guess I should post my vid.. at least one of them. I didn't make this, I recently received a link from a friend who's wife took it on Oct 14th when we were at Sacramento Raceway.

Granted my times and speed are not the greatest, but you gotta give me some slack as I do have a 4x4 and I'm never gonna be able to match some of your times and speeds.. LOL

This particular run was my fastest ever: 15.012 @89.907 mph 1/4 mile. I gotta scan my ticket for that day to post down in the ticket times section, don't remember off hand what the 60' and 1/8 was...

I'm in the Go Mango Daytona in the far lane and my friend Russ (from the HemiTruckClub) is in the near lane. It looks like he won (got a better take off than me (those are my tires you hear in the begining of the video) but for some reason that I'm still trying to understand, I won the race...

Granted it's not the greatest race in the world but I did win it.

While showing the video to my wife and after a short arguement (that I won! LOL) I proved to her how I won it.

Seems I forgot that we had our times on the window and that he had beaten his time - ergo he lost.

My best time before this run was something like 15.135 or so, so I played it safe and put 14.8 as my time, he went -.166 on his time and I was .212 on mine (M.O.V.) ...

If we had gone by speed he would have had me, on that run he had 92.649 to my 89.907...

And he's running a 2500 quad cab short bed 2 wheel drive against my 1500 RC short bed 4x4.......

Guess the weight between both trucks should be approx equal due to the weight of my transfer case, front diff., front drive and propeller shafts....

Just found this one today, he told me he posted my dyno run as well - just didn't have time to look for it:

Here's one of my truck on the Dyno the day before the run at the track - video above in first post - my best pull was 314.7 hp and 319.5 ft lbs torque - that's after the current mods I have on my truck. I expect to get more when I can afford more ..

Oct 13th Dyno Pull
