Here's my concern..... there is a rubber weather strip for the door that is being rubbed.... look at the bottom of the a-pillar and open/close the door. The upper-forward corner of the door (bottom of the inclines) has rubbed a small hole in the weather stripping of the door seal. The pass side rubs there also but hasn't done any damage yet.
How does yours look? Has anybody had any problems yet that has similar damage?

Rich

Thank you...

ps.... I ran my VIN number on the dodge.com and zero TSB's came up. How did you find out about this?

Those are the two that involve door seals on the 04..

The 05 models are supposed to have the new seals already installed thats why they don't come up on the TSB list.

Repair completed. Showed the '04 TSB to the service group and didn't have any problems. new weather stripping has the bottom 4 inches compressed so to not interfer with the door opening/closing.

Have you checked your weather stripping lately????

Good !! Very Happy We have to keep the Dealer honest and make them fix the poor designed parts.

Had mine done last monday, The uppers are much better designed and had the lower dust seals installed that are probably not on yours now. The dealer did this with no problems and also paid to paint the scoop black and repaint the bottom ground effects for chipping(the hood scoop also was chipped) Good dealer have never had a problem with them! Forget the TSB for 05 Just tell them they are ripping and you want a new set. The new set has a notch in them so it don't rub!
